About Firm360
Firm360 is a fast-growing SaaS platform revolutionizing practice management for accounting firms. Our all-in-one solution streamlines workflows, automates repetitive tasks, and centralizes client data and communications—empowering accounting professionals to operate more efficiently. As we scale, we seek a seasoned product manager to drive the evolution of our platform’s user experience, increasing customer efficiency and joy in their everyday lives with Firm360.
We’re a lean, high-output team that operates close to the customer. Product sits at the intersection of everything: engineering, customer success, sales, and operations, and this role will be central to how we grow the product and the company
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our practice management software for accountants and CPAs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the accounting industry, combined with strong product management skills, to drive the creation and continuous improvement of our software solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints to deliver a product that exceeds expectations.
You will work alongside the CPO and other PMs to shape how the product evolves: setting priorities, writing clear specs, and driving outcomes across our full surface area including billing, client portal, project management, eSignature, and integrations and AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Help develop and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the needs of accountants and CPAs. Ensure that the product evolves to meet market demands and business objectives.
- Shape the Work: Write focused, scope-right pitches and specs. We use Shape Up-style pitches internally. You’ll scope problems to their minimum lovable solution, not the maximum possible version. You’ll collaborate with engineering to land the right abstraction at the right time.
- Stay Focused on the Customer: Talk to customers constantly. Not just for validation, but as your primary source of insight. You’ll work closely with our Customer Success team and directly engage accounting firm partners and power users to understand workflow pain points and unmet needs.
- Drive Technical Collaboration: Partner tightly with Engineering. You’ll work daily with engineers and designers. You don’t need to write code, but you’ll need to understand tradeoffs, push back on over-engineering, and translate business intent into specifications that are unambiguous.
- Use Data to Decide: Track what matters. Monitor product adoption, feature usage, and customer health signals. Use data to challenge assumptions and prioritize ruthlessly. Surface insights that drive roadmap adjustments before problems become churn drivers.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with CS, Sales, and Marketing on new feature launches, help CS with enablement materials, and align with Sales on product gaps that affect revenue. You’re the connective tissue between teams.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Product Management experience in a B2B SaaS environment
- Experience with AI in B2B SaaS Products
- Demonstrated ability to own and ship features end-to-end: from discovery through launch and iteration
- Strong technical fluency: you can read an API spec, discuss database tradeoffs, and hold your own in engineering conversations without needing to code
- Customer-obsessed: you interview users regularly, synthesize patterns, and let insight drive prioritization
- Clear, concise, and direct communicator: in writing, in meetings, and in documentation. You don’t hide behind jargon
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to make calls with incomplete information
- Familiar with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or equivalent) and comfortable building your own queries or dashboards when needed
- Agile practitioner with a pragmatic approach: processes serve the team, not the other way around
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in accounting, legal, or professional services software
- Familiarity with Shape Up or similar asynchronous product development methodologies
- Experience with Stripe, payment workflows, or billing product areas
- Background working in a company with a high CS-to-PM ratio where you’ve had to support customers directly
- Exposure to usage-based health scoring, NPS programs, or renewal-cycle analytics
How We Work
We’re a virtual-first team. We communicate asynchronously by default, write things down, and trust people to manage their own time. Meetings are earned, not defaulted to. You’ll be expected to drive your own workload with minimal hand-holding, but you’ll have direct access to leadership and a team that is genuinely collaborative.
We value output over activity, directness over diplomacy, and shipping over perfecting. If you do your best work when you have real ownership and tight feedback loops with customers and engineers, this role is for you.
Environment & Culture:
At Firm360, our values shape the way we work:
Fun Growth – It takes a team to accomplish great things. We bring energy, support each other, and celebrate every win—big or small. We take our work seriously but never forget to have fun along the way.
We, Not Me – We prioritize the success of the team over individual gain. Aligned by shared goals and values, we collaborate, support one another, and put the collective first.
Growth Mindset – No matter how much we know, there’s always more to learn. We embrace curiosity, seek feedback, and welcome challenges as opportunities to grow.
Communicate with a Purpose – We’re intentional about what we share—and what we don’t. We reduce the noise by focusing on information that matters, ensuring clarity, context, and relevance. Whether with teammates or customers, we deliver the right message, at the right time, in the right way.
Own It – We take initiative and step up when we see opportunities to improve. But ownership doesn’t mean going it alone—we coordinate, collaborate, and involve the right people to drive meaningful change.
Benefits & Perks:
Benefits: Healthcare, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) match, flexible PTO policy, 13 paid holidays
Perks: Professional development stipend, fully remote work
